It's been a few YEARS since I got whey protein. I think the last time I got whey was in 2013 and it was Optimum Nutrition natural whey. My boyfriend made me paranoid about non-organic whey and for many years I didn't know which brand to consider when buying organic whey and all brands were very expensive in terms of content. Also, I felt that high-quality foods or organic, raw, whole or skim milk might be enough to replace whey protein. However, I only discovered this material 3-4 months ago and have been using it ever since. It's very stomach friendly. That means I drank 2 scoops yesterday after going to the gym and it wasn't fat or heavy. 2 scoops and some water. I have found that very little liquid needs to be used when mixing. The more liquid, the more foam. If using 1 scoop, use less than 4 ounces of liquid. Shake it for a few seconds and check the consistency. Two scoops, less than 12 fluid ounces. This material is very light and the liquid form feels very liquid rather than thick. I'm assuming this means less liquid if you want it a little thicker. I'm not sure if it helps my sore muscles heal faster but it says it's BCAA and glutamine and I love it. If you can trust the label, these are excellent levels of BCAAs and glutamine per serving. Before this powder, I received raw flour from the garden of life. However, BCAAS and glutamine levels were more vague. The levels of this powder are listed on the front of the pack. However, I love raw foods that are loaded with organic fruits and veggies and fiber! But plant-based protein is digested differently than animal-based protein, and again, amino acid and glutamine levels in raw flour are uncertain. In any case, the "bottle" of this powder is enough for me for about 2-3 weeks. I only take on the days I'm working out and when my muscles are still really sore. While it doesn't satisfy hunger, it is a fast-burning whey protein. Anyhow, I like it. And you should check the prices as some places are under $40 and others are over $40. It's nice to get such a high quality serum. Provided you can rely on everything that is on the seal of approval. Another questionable thing about plant protein is the lead content. I don't think there's anything like that in animal protein. This review is quite long. I like the product.
