Not much to say about the hard drive mount, but I love the fact that it can hold two hard drives, and since I use SSDs I don't have to worry about getting too close and what - or problems. because SSDs don't consume any food at all because they don't have any moving parts, so I have 500GB and a terabyte in this dual enclosure in my middle tower and I can't be happier. I also love that it's side mounted because my particular case has the exact style of the tub they only need to be side mounted so you can easily connect the cables even after they're screwed down. Of course you don't have to use both caddies and you can only use one disc in them, but I bought it specifically to fit both discs with the same face and it works great :-)
