Great mount for SSD! on computer components

I'm a computer consultant so I install a lot of SSDs. I already had about 15 of these mounts installed and decided I liked them better than the dual Sabrent SSD mounts. I installed over 50 Sabrent mounts before discovering them. In most cases, they are easier to use. They also place the connectors in roughly the same place as a regular hard drive, allowing for more brackets (like the blue plastic brackets Dell uses). The ONLY thing that drives me crazy about these brackets is how they pack the…

  • Great for me

Does its job well for computers and accessories

This is mostly common sense, but the screws provided were only intended to secure the device to the mount itself. Attachment to the case requires the use of screws, which are not always supplied with the case. It's also not clear which direction to mount the device as it seems you can mount the device in any direction. I was able to mount and install my device into my case, although a few screws are missing the device is so light it won't rip the case off.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • May damage

There's not much to say about the hard drive mount but I love the fact that it can hold two hard drives and, since I Using SSDs I don't have to worry about them being close together and causing problems as SSDs have no consumption at all as I have no moving parts so I have 500GB and a terabyte in this dual case in my medium tower and I couldn't be happier, I also like the side mount because my particular case has the exact tray style that just needs to be side mounted so you can connect cables…

No instructions, but it helps!

I wanted to turn it down because I had to install and uninstall it about 50 times before I finally got it right (it doesn't come with instructions). But then I realized that I'm an idiot and this bracket shouldn't pay for my sins. In case it's helpful to any of you, I installed it in conjunction with a Samsung 850 EVO on a 2011 21.5" iMac. As mentioned, it took me ages to figure this out before I finally realized it needed to be setup to get everything to fit properly. I hope this tip will save

Very well thought out hard drive cage and side mounted I love it

Not much to say about the hard drive mount, but I love the fact that it can hold two hard drives, and since I use SSDs I don't have to worry about getting too close and what - or problems. because SSDs don't consume any food at all because they don't have any moving parts, so I have 500GB and a terabyte in this dual enclosure in my middle tower and I can't be happier. I also love that it's side mounted because my particular case has the exact style of the tub they only need to be side mounted…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

The extra end sticks out too much.

I bought this for an SSD to improve airflow (compared to my current mount) but the extra end sticks out too much. I have a Sonata Proto Tower with removable drive bays. If the bracket is properly aligned, the bay will not slide all the way in because the end of the bracket sticks out too far, preventing the bay latches from bending. Latch to disengage from the latch and thus never get the SSD back. When I rotate the brace backwards, not only do the short cables have to be pulled farther to get…
