Review on Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket: Effortlessly ๐Ÿ“ Install and Showcase Multiple SSDs in Sleek White Design by Robert Norris

The extra end sticks out too much.

I bought this for an SSD to improve airflow (compared to my current mount) but the extra end sticks out too much. I have a Sonata Proto Tower with removable drive bays. If the bracket is properly aligned, the bay will not slide all the way in because the end of the bracket sticks out too far, preventing the bay latches from bending. Latch to disengage from the latch and thus never get the SSD back. When I rotate the brace backwards, not only do the short cables have to be pulled farther to get to the SSD, but the extra end actually pushes all the cables backwards, increasing the distance the cables have to reach and putting more stress on them is attached to cables connected to other drives. in the mood for it and needed to reassemble my computer to get it working so I settled on an old mount for now. Maybe the next time I open the tower I'll grind the end of the mount first and then swap out the mounts. The bracket comes with a set of mounting screws.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Very expensive
