Review on 📺 Cuescreens Premium OEM Replacement Touch Screen Display for Cadillac CUE + Complimentary Install Assistance by Kevin Flores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It takes guts and muscle to step off the side panel. Just change the screen!

My 2015 Cadillac Cue system got stuck on a warning screen telling me to keep my eyes on the road. I have tried all the hockey machine resources on You Tube but to no avail. I knew the computer was still okay because it responded correctly to voice commands and non-touch screen changes. Hence the bold move of following YouTube's fix to just replace the touchscreen. We ordered the tools for removing parts and plastic trim, they arrived in 2 days as promised. On Saturday morning we fixed the car! Hell, 1 hour and we still can't get the skin off. we were just too cowardly to nudge them. A NOTICE. Take courage and just act. Maybe? We took it to a friend of mine and a local mechanic who was able to do the job. Initially he charged me $250, it took several hours, he had never done this before and I was willing to pay him. still a lot less than $1400 for the dealer. But. you can be careful. There were bubbles on the back of the screen. He forgot to remove the protective film. He charged me an additional $75 for this oversight, which I was happy to pay as it took him longer to come back to remove the profile. All said and done, the job cost $325 and my car is like new for only $500, everything works great and it didn't even leave fingerprints or scratches. Trim the side panel yourself and save $325, remove the protective film from the back of the screen, order the plastic tools and trust yourself. ALWAYS check YouTube before taking the car to the dealer.
