Worked Great - Hand Tool

If I were a pro who needed to use something like this a lot I would have looked elsewhere, but I only needed it temporarily to remove nuts from a van I kept long enough to care for me to move across the country. and then I sold it once the move was complete. However, it was a life saver. My half-inch breaker couldn't handle these nuts, and even my 3/4-inch breaker couldn't handle them. They lived up to their name and broke in half trying to get rid of them. I exchanged both for warranty but I didn't want to go through the hassle again so I bought this one. The torque multiplication with this tool is unmatched. The number of turns increases, but the force required to loosen the jam nuts is very small. It would take forever to twist them all the way out with this tool, but what I did was rip all 8 out of the thing, then go in with a half inch punch and twist them all the way through. Very handy tool and I even used this and some math to re-tighten the studs. m, assuming it's a bearing or bushing preload issue, because at the end of this case it moves exceptionally much when you change directions. I didn't count the number of turns before it hits the stop and starts spinning on the nut, but it's more than one! I haven't tried to take it apart and inspect it to check, but I suspect some thrust washers are missing, or maybe some sort of spacer behind a bearing that wasn't installed. I'll go ahead and assume that if it's ever used heavily, a couple of gear teeth will break and it'll be useless. I could disassemble it and try to fix it just for fun since I don't need it anymore. It would be great to see how it works.
