Review on πŸ”΅ Round Enclosure Net for Skywalker Trampolines by Michael Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A perfect replacement for our 15ft Skywalker, but it's really a PITA to install!

After 6 years outdoors, our Skywalker 15ft Round #OWTC15 net snapped and fell apart. The stock branch purchased here was a perfect replacement at a great price, but this is a serious PITA replacement. I replaced the safety net and outer padding/skirt at the same time, which were also destroyed in the impact. Even if your cushion is still in good condition, it must be removed to gain access to the safety net attachment points. It's easy enough to remove the old netting with a razor, but at this point you'll remember that the safety netting gets installed EVERY spring after you've built the block! That means finding or buying a new spring puller, disconnecting each spring and threading a new safety net through each ring of the triangular bounce pad. The security gate is pre-cut to match but note where the gate meets the posts. or the top pipe connections will never match and you have more work to do. Our original net had a hole where the top tube bolt attached it, as well as an extra pole wrap strap, this redesigned replacement only had a bolt hole, no extra strap/wrap, but otherwise it fit perfectly. The new mesh will be VERY dense when you first install it. All in all we have no regrets replacing the safety net and hopefully can last another 6+ years. just maybe there's a helper to pull the feathers for your wits and soon-to-be-tired fingers.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
