Bought 2 lights for the kitchen. The good first: very light. Modern and with a nice square accent in the middle. Cons: There were some guides, but who really writes the stuff? Installation is not as easy as it seems. The holes don't line up with the switch box, which is what most people will do when replacing an existing lightbulb. Cords should not enter and exit the side of the lamp unless you are mounting it on a wall or somewhere other than the ceiling. To keep it flat and easier to install, the wires should go straight up from the connectors. I've wired way too many lightbulbs in my life and never had the hassle of installing them. Make sure you have an extra cable as you will need it. It is very difficult to connect the wires coming out of the switch box on the side of these connectors as the connectors have a protection box to prevent wires from being disconnected or lost causing the wires to get out of the way. At the end of the day, the cables cause the lamps to tilt slightly. Very frustrating! Consider returning it.
