Recommend them

I don't care what you read or say, these are the cheapest walkie talkies I've ever had. They're not powerful, just 500mw, but they're the most talking little rascals I've ever had, and I've had plenty of cheap, inexpensive walkie-talkies. The cost doesn't stop you from throwing it on the stream, losing it, and crying all week because you lost all that money. They are inexpensive but reliable and can talk. I've tested a mile in clear, open distance, and when you're that far from your partner or kids, you're just too damn far away. I just have to recommend her. and if you get one that's a little quirky or broken when it arrives, just buy a new set, it won't break your bank.

Pros
  • (long range radio). It can shield the external interference signal and reduce the noise. Allows you to connect with partners over a long distance of about 2 miles (max. IN OPEN FIELD, it depends exactly on your environment).
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
