I would like to know more about formatting USB and USBC flash drives before I buy this. Unless you're computer savvy, don't use this to transfer files from your phone. The flash drive will be formatted as exFAT if you need FAT32 to transfer something from phone to computer. My phone doesn't recognize the format and apparently Windows has made it impossible to reformat the flash drive to FAT32. I've spent months getting this flash drive to work and at this point I feel like I just wasted money on something I need to recycle. Regardless of whether it was formatted in FAT32 or not, the flash drive tells me there is an error that needs to be fixed and all my files are erased every time I plug it into my computer. That means even if it worked, I would remove the files from my phone only to delete them on my computer. Strongly disappointed.
