Not the best teether but a must for a baby's gym

I originally bought my baby a hard dumbbell rattle but I never liked that it was hard plastic. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. The middle part is very flexible. The edges were harder than expected, almost like the coating on a rubber dumbbell. The silicone on this dumbbell picks up lint and dirt easily. When shaken, it makes a faint rattle. Overall I liked it but don't think it would make a good teether as it's too thick.
