I like that thing. I would give it 5 stars except that I have found a problem with the epilation in general that prevents me from saying that it is perfect. I've been using it regularly for about 6 months. I have traveled with it and have found that it retains its charge for many purposes. Pulls hair very effectively. I'm sure that with any epilator you usually have to use it two days in a row to get rid of ALL the hair. After that, you can use it as maintenance at least every other day. To take care of your epilator, all you have to do is remove the cap and clean it with the brush. Although I love it, I still have some issues with ingrown hairs. I exfoliate everyday in the shower with a washcloth and use post epilation lotion as recommended, but I still have lots of pink bumps. I'll keep looking for solutions though, because it's still a lot better than shaving. The only thing I would like to mention is that they should consult with the designer about colors. Pink and purple are really eye-catching. UPDATE I've been using it for over a year now. Battery life isn't that long anymore, but I can plug it in to get full power. I've found I need to groom it at least every other day, but daily is better. I also found that the ingrown hairs and bumps almost went away over time because I finally got used to using a large washcloth on my legs every time I showered. every time you shower, even if you don't want to epilate that day - Epilate only after a shower or a warm bath to open your pores - Let your feet dry completely and epilate in a room that is not too humid. If your feet are still wet or the bathroom is too humid, the epilator will not glide over your skin. - Gently pull the skin as shown while epilating the skin area. - Knee tight, bend your knee and try different angles of the epilator. You may not get all the hair, but if you use it every day you will get rid of most of the hair on your knees and no one will notice the few fine hairs that remain. I recommend shaving the back of the thighs and the back of the thighs. knees because the hair is so thin and the skin is so easily irritated. You don't have to shave off those hairs as often. They are thin and soft. Don't worry about very fine hairs that may be left behind on the front of your thighs. Nobody will notice her. You can shave them off if you really want to, but I recommend just leaving them on. After that, you MUST use a non-stinging moisturizer like shea butter, baby oil, or azulene oil with benzocaine. For red bumps, try wiping your skin with witch hazel (should cost less than $2 for a drugstore brand) with a cotton swab or dampened paper towel, allow to dry, then apply moisturizer.
