Vornado Element S Air is a rugged humidifier in a compact package. It does a good job of adding moisture to the house (although I'm skeptical of claims of 1,000-square-foot coverage), and I really like the cold, warm, and hot air settings. I also found the fill tank to be extremely reliable and not drip at all. The only downsides I've had are that the humidifier seems to be a bit noisier than other humidifiers I've used and the humidity setting doesn't seem to kick in fast enough (to make the room wetter than set, which you partially fix can, simply by setting a lower humidity setting). Also keep in mind that the smaller pack size helps it fit in many places, but also means you'll likely need to refill it several times a day if you're in a dry environment. A tank lasts about 4-5 hours when the humidity is set at 50%. The packaging and user manual were excellent and even included a citric acid mix to clean your humidifier when the water is hard. Although I wouldn't recommend it. "Hot" setting With kids there is an easy-to-use "Control Lock" setting that prevents changes if they force-touch the LED buttons. All in all, you can't go wrong with this humidifier if your space doesn't need to be quiet.
