Just delivered, it's beautiful and yes very heavy. I consider this a plus. Internal dimensions are 10" x 10" and the grill side is 1" deep, the frying side is 2" deep. I was planning to try my hand at some artisanal bread recipes online, but I'm afraid the bread now needs more room to rise than Bruntmor offers when closed. However, it fits very well in my large Breville toaster. I plan to post the lasagna recipe on the Bruntmor website very soon and freeze it into squares to eat over time. I suppose I can bake bread with the fry side and mist the oven (or put ice cubes on aluminum foil) instead of covering it with the grill side. I've also read that brownies bake well in those enameled cast iron skillets with parchment paper liners. Think grilled chicken wings! I haven't cooked anything in it yet and I'm still very happy with the features it offers. It's beautiful and inspires me with ideas.
