Suddenly stopped working

The charger worked fine on my APX8000XE for a few months and then suddenly stopped working. It's been sitting on my desk since I ordered it. It has never been abused or damaged. I don't understand why it suddenly doesn't load or doesn't light up. Revane tells me I'm out of luck
