My pup doesn't like the sound of velcro, but the velcro makes it easy to put this jacket on your dog. Fasten the Velcro around the neck first, then pull the tab under the body and pull to secure it on the dog's back. Attractive, quilted and gets the job done. Not sure how warm it will be in the dead of winter but this is a great entry level jacket for my pup who is having to get used to the idea of wearing anything. She doesn't like the cold so I suspect that once she's a coat concept she'll be more willing to stand still and get dressed before our outdoor excursions.
