Winter Windproof Waterproof Reversible Dog Coat for Cold Weather - BONAWEN Dog Jacket Review

We love this jacket for our little mini dachshund! It's perfect for her long body. We bought it because we went to the Grand Canyon in early January. It kept her warm, looked adorable and was very easy to put on and take off. We were very happy with the quality and style. I tried 3 other jackets for her before finding this one and I'm really glad we did. This is one of the best jackets we've had for her.

My pup doesn't like the sound of velcro, but the velcro makes it easy to put this jacket on your dog. Fasten the Velcro around the neck first, then pull the tab under the body and pull to secure it on the dog's back. Attractive, quilted and gets the job done. Not sure how warm it will be in the dead of winter but this is a great entry level jacket for my pup who is having to get used to the idea of wearing anything. I like this jacket style because the clothes don't slip anywhere around the dog - everything just fastens with Velcro and the dog doesn't have to deform it. I also wanted my girl's tummy to be covered as we have a lot of snow for her size which means we can play outside longer! The coat fits figure-hugging thanks to the Velcro fastener and coat cut. We wouldn't want it much bigger. It is ideal to have a zip on the back of the jacket for a seat belt buckle, as well as a buttonhole above it if we decide to use a collar. It's not very thick, but since we live in California where nights can get into the 40's and 30's, the coat should keep our pup warm when he goes outside to do his business.
