I got this camera to monitor my back door. I have another set of Eufy cameras that cost $250 for my front door last year. I have to say that Eufy beats these in awareness and performance, but this one is much more affordable and easy to install with no hub required. It comes with a magnetic base and a metal stand, I personally prefer the magnetic base which can be removed very easily for charging when needed. The connection is easier than the Eufy camera as it connects directly to the router while for the Eufy camera you need to set up a hub and connect the camera to the hub. The distance is a bit shorter than the Eufy cam because the router is in the middle of the house and the Eufy hub is near the front door, but I can definitely install it on the back door, which is 50 feet out the House. routers. The battery life is currently acceptable, I was very surprised to see many bad reviews saying several days of battery life. I still have 92% left after 5 days, thanks to the experience with the Eufy camera, you can't put a battery camera in a position with many detections per day, otherwise the battery will quickly run out with hundreds of detections, no matter the Eufy camera. or other cameras. I also have to charge my Eufy camera every 3 months even though it is advertised with a 12 month battery life. So far I'm impressed with the price and performance of this camera. I may buy more cameras from this brand if this works well for another month. If anything goes wrong I will update my review.
