I bought these to practice my bridal hairstyles and they are perfect for small strands of hair. I put two on around a large section and by the end of the day both elastics snapped. But all the rubber bands around the small strands of hair stayed in place, and I used a handy cutter to pull them out. This tailor is great. It definitely saves tangles! just be careful I certainly cut some hair by pulling out the elastics until I got the hang of it. Worth the money for the amount you get including the cutter. I have something to practice!
