We haven't used these in our Nerf War yet but judging by the fit they should be perfect. They are definitely made for kids - I'm not sure how a normal sized adult would wear them, they squeeze my head and I'm a fairly normal sized woman. They actually fit my almost 4 year old very well - he has a slightly big head for his age. I would say they would probably be a good fit for the average age of 6-12. But they'll probably fit a teenager too - they'll be small but perfectly portable. I could possibly wear them if I had to but for someone with a normal sized head they would be uncomfortable after a long time. They seem quite solid and very crisp. My kids aged 3 and 6 love them!
