WOW! Why didn't I know about this before I spent $800 on my Zulu?!

I fly a PA32 (Cherokee Six) and since air helmets are expensive I only had two Zulus for pilot/co-pilot and the rest was cheap at $100. As the kids got older I wanted to give them an ANR headset but didn't feel like spending $800 x 4 so I looked around and found them. Just got back from a 4 hour flight with them and I am blown away. They're light, don't clench your head to the point of a headache, and get the job just as good as my Zulus (almost 1/3 the price). Cons: They don't have the same level of materials. like a Zulu. The Zulu were made to fight. It's more like your high-end Boss or Beats. In any case, they are not cheap, but it seems that after the flight they should be put in a suitcase and not thrown on the rudder pedals. everything is fine with me No built-in Bluetooth: This is a matter of personal preference. For me it's better if what can go wrong in the back of the plane is better, i.e. I prefer the kids to use an audio cable. If you've ever tried allowing a BT connection at 10,000ft, you know what I'm talking about. In this case, the less complexity, the better. No auto shut off: As far as I can tell they don't turn off by themselves, but I could be wrong. Pros: Lightest headphones you will ever use in a cockpit. Point. ANR is at least as good as Zulu, if not better. The sound is very crisp and clear. The microphone on the boom works great and can be swiveled left or right. Price of course, Ken (my co-pilot in the picture and airline pilot in real life) loves her too. All in all a great purchase. Blue sky! N646SD
