First of all, this fitness tracker looks amazing. It's slim and stylish, with a nice clear screen. It's very light and if I don't notice it I wear it most of the time. Battery life is good and I have no problem lasting up to 4-5 days depending on usage. The charger is great, small, magnetic and easy to use. I have a Samsung S9 phone, so I didn't have any pairing issues. If you're familiar with the Samsung Health app, it syncs well with most of its features. Overall it has what it takes to be a 5 star product. band as it is a buckle design). I used to have fitness trackers, now even my wife wears them. Its tracker strap resembles a typical watch with a simple clasp design. This is verified and correct. I didn't even look closely when I bought it, but this strap buckle is upside down so the extra strap goes underneath (see picture). When I took it out of the box and tried to put it on for the first time, it was a little unexpected. It works and some like it and some don't. I think it's ok when I wear it, but it hurts to put it on and take it off on my wrist. So if you're the type who plans to take it off at night or while showering, then this might be a problem for you. It's just a little tricky to use and lasts longer than a standard buckle. In my case I wear it all the time and only take it off when it's charging because it's so hard to play around with. 2 - Apps - It has most of the functionality of the Samsung Health app, but I'm really disappointed that I couldn't add a few simpler apps. They have a water and caffeine counter, but it would be nice to have a quick calorie counter feature to add the calories you eat for tracking. To do this, you need to use the Health app on your phone. Another app I miss is a simple weight tracker. Again, you'll have to do this on your phone, but it would be nice to be able to set your weight on the watch. It just makes it easier to weigh yourself in the morning. Another thing I noticed is that you can't add more than 3 exercises to choose from on the watch. You can change 3 of them, but why not increase that number a bit. These app issues are minor, but it would be pretty easy for me to add them to improve the functionality of the watch. Overall I give this tracker 4 stars. Despite the shortcomings, I'm satisfied. It's a solid little product and I still recommend it to everyone. **Update 23/01/20** A few other bits and pieces about the apps: - You only have the option to continuously monitor heart rate every 10 seconds while standing and manually. That's disappointing as it drains the battery faster when left on all the time, and every 10 seconds is good, but it only measures when you're standing. It would be very nice to have options every 5 or 10 minutes whether you are moving or not. Gives you an overview of tracking your heart rate while preserving battery life. You only have the option of measuring the load continuously or manually. Again, it would be nice to set intervals like every 5 or 10 minutes. - You can't set an alarm from the clock! It's nice to wake up to a vibration from your wrist (most fitness trackers have this), but the lack of an option to set an alarm from the watch is disappointing. I often set my alarm earlier or later depending on what I have to do that day, and it makes it tedious to grab my phone, find the portable app, find the alarm setting, and then change the alarm each time . It would be nice to do it just from the clock. I won't knock down another star because I still love this watch. I find the sleep tracker quite accurate and all the data is informative. I hope Samsung will add these features in the future. *** UPDATE: 04/06/2021. So after a little over a year of use, I'm taking 2 stars off my rating. Just last month I took my watch off the charger and the screen lit up all white. The text below is almost invisible. I haven't done anything with it and before that it worked perfectly. Now when the screen is turned on, it just shows all white. I've searched the internet, it seems a lot of people have this problem. I haven't found a solution. Resetting and shutting down doesn't do anything. But it still works, tracks steps etc. So I kept using it. But just yesterday the tape broke at the end. I haven't done anything abnormal. I just realized my watch was lost on my hand and tried to fix it better but immediately noticed it was torn. It is made entirely of soft, rubber-like material. This place is sort of the weakest link. Not a very good design. I'm sure someone designed it to look cool but not very practical. This is a practice group after all and gets a little beat up from time to time.
