i really like them for trail running. I feel the trail but my legs don't hurt at all, even on gravel. I walk through hilly Georgia. I've been running with them several days a week for a month or two now. I don't like walking on concrete in these, but that's probably more of a problem for my knees than my socks. My feet felt good, I would even say I've become more responsive and maybe avoided a few injuries while wearing them. They are comfortable, don't tighten, don't slip much. They are sweet! i enjoy them
