I've just started using the AquaSonic Black Series PRO - Ultra Whitening Toothbrush so consider me a newbie to this type of toothbrush. My first attempt resulted in tiny bits of toothpaste and saliva spattering my bathroom mirror and my beautiful t-shirt. It was fun. However, here are my first observations: ULTRASONIC POWER: The 40,000 rpm ultrasonic motor is very powerful indeed. I used it in "Soft Mode" and it was still far more powerful than I expected. My teeth were instantly cleaner than my regular toothbrush could have been. TWO MINUTE TIMER: While you can turn this toothbrush on or off at any time, its default "run time" is two minutes in 30-second intervals to cover every four minutes. quadrant of your mouth. It's always good to have options. UV DISINFECTION: This is the MAIN function as far as I know. We all know how germ-ridden our regular toothbrushes are. A UV disinfection chamber makes it easy to do something about it. TRAVEL CASE: I love that AquaSonic includes a handy travel case that not only charges the toothbrush but also disinfects the toothbrush head with UV light, just like the main charger. DOCUMENTATION: Although the instruction manual is better written than many instruction manuals these days, its description of the UN cleaning and charging function is somewhat vague and ambiguous. CONCLUSION: The AquaSonic toothbrush set is comprehensive and impressive. Six ProFlex toothbrushes should give you plenty of brushing before they all wear out.
