This is my second set of Torchstar LEDs. I have 6" LEDs from theirs in my kitchen and they have been working great for a few years so I decided to buy another set of 3" glasses for my home theater/media room. The headlights look good and appear to be well made overall. One of the overlay rings had a defect (the rivet that connects the lamp socket to the outer ring came loose). I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement ring overnight. Pros: - Looks great - Bulbs included - Bulbs are not wired to the case and can be replaced with standard G10 LEDs if required - IC rating - Doesn't get hot. I've tested the attic sidelight a few times and found that the back of the case doesn't get hot after a few hours of use. - Dimmable to very low levels with no flickering or buzzing and works well with the Insteon dimmer switch - Excellent. Customer Service Cons: - The junction box is quite cramped. I was able to daisy chain with 12 ga wire but had to make some effort to hide all the wiring in the box. However, the flashlights have plug connections, which is very practical. The backbox has standard cutouts, but it doesn't come with cable clamps, so you'll need to purchase them separately. I bought Halex 3/8" - 1/2" plastic connectors from the big orange store and they worked great. Overall I am very happy with these lights. For the price, they really can't be beat.
