Bought to replace two silver ones only used for cookies for about twenty years then kids grew up and started using them for everything, pizza, spiced wings , which stick when frying pan, fries, etc. Then they are not suitable for cookies. If you only use biscuits, they do not need to be washed in the dishwasher, they are washed off in seconds with a little detergent and warm water. Don't stay sticky. They are 100% non-stick until other foods stick to them and you don't have to clean them. Also, they don't have sides, which isn't a problem for cookies that stick or somehow stick to the pan until they cool a bit and then immediately slide off. French fries & co. will immediately slide into the oven if you take the pan out of the oven at even the slightest angle, which is almost impossible not to do. I've had more food on the bottom of my oven used for anything other than cookies than anything I've ever cooked. But for great, evenly toasted, non-stick cookies, there's nothing better! Lasts longer than any pan I've had
