I used this for a picnic and was very happy with the quality and ease of use. The plastic is thick and durable. Children accidentally opened and closed the flip cover, and it stood. There is space for ice cubes of all sizes at the bottom of the bowl. Ours came out of the fridge and stayed in the sun most of the day. I've been a bartender for many years and this is the same professional quality as in the living room. I look forward to many more years of use.
