Works well but the metal handle can burn you!
It comes with a plastic cover that cannot be removed. The bottom filter is uncoated; so it works fine. Be careful not to touch the hot metal handle at the front or back with your bare hands! I fixed this by putting three layers of 1/2" white Curad bandage on the handles to protect my hands from hot metal. Either pick it up with gloves or pliers, or let it cool on its own .
