Too cheap to justify the price.

Full disclosure, I received this product *for free* through Revain Vine. I got this "tank" for my niece and nephew's room in my house. Buck is small. It holds about a gallon of water, that's all. The photos shown on the product page are misleading, so I've included a better photo for size reference. I am struggling to find the right fish for this aquarium as a gallon of water is good for very few aquatic life. Maybe a guppies or two? Minnow? snails? You can get tiny goldfish, but they will quickly outgrow the aquarium. I don't care about the aquarium background, ugly in my opinion. I would prefer the background to be white, like on the outside of the product packaging. "Filter" is a joke, it's just a trickle of water, and the filter media used is just a few square pieces of sponge. The LED and hood lights were a nice touch and I appreciate that. A dimmed LED option provides good nighttime lighting in her room. This tank is way too small and given the current price tag of around $100, it's a complete rip off. Look, for under $100 you can go to any Walmart and get a five gallon *glass* Aquirum with a hood, a light, and a better filter. The cost of this tank shouldn't exceed $50, and even then I feel like it's enforcing it. You can buy a bigger mason jar than this reservoir, add a water pump and just drop the end of the hose over the top to expose the water to the air and I think it would be better than that. I want to add that while the tank is up holds a gallon of water because the filter is in the back and the separator goes in the middle. That means your fish has less than a gallon of room to move around.
