As mentioned earlier, I was initially unable to set the combination for this lock. Moving the little reset lever wouldn't have saved my custom combination. I finally realized that after moving the reset lever down and to the left like the manual says, I had to press the little silver bar just below it. See attached picture. After that, my custom combination worked. I think this part is just stuck or something? Apart from this somewhat fatal blemish, the key box makes a good impression. Hope this info helps some people!
