These are my favorite active shoes for my kids and I keep buying them when my kids outgrow them! Kids shoes can cost) - They are very light - The sole is very flexible - The toe box is not too tight - They clean very easily after mud splashing (I used a cold cycle in the washing machine, a short cycle on low heat with a towel tumble dry then air dry to finish) - Elastic laces + velcro strap makes it easy for my kids to get them on (particularly helpful for my 3 year old who MUST do everything. Additional note: they do wear a hole in the toe, after all, but I do didn't list this as AGAINST because that happens with all my kids' shoes, no matter the brand (because my kids won't stop dragging their toes on their bikes!) and because it actually took longer than I expected...stubbornly...I... ordered 11M for my 5 year old who wears 11 in both Cat & Jack and Native shoes and they fit very well, same for my 3 year old en, I ordered him 9M, he wears 9 in Cat & Jack and they fit perfectly. if that gives you any idea of how they hold up!
