Review on DEWALT 12V MAX Portable LED Work Light (DCL510) by Marcelo Apriando

I ordered it along with other Dewalt 12v max cordless tools. I was won over by the reviews on this flashlight - thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! It is a must have accessory for 12v max LiON systems. This is for a 12v max system, not a standard 12v system. 12v max is a Dewalt LiON 12v (lithium ion) system. This flashlight is AMAZING! The 12V battery really fills this flashlight with impressive intensity. The flashlight is comparable in size to a flashlight that runs on 3 or 4 AA batteries, but the brightness for this flashlight is incredibly greater (these are all my subjective opinions - no measurable comparisons). The flashlight illuminates objects up to about 75 feet away (not sure how far). I have this for various lighting needs. First off, it mounts to the side of my fridge (on a magnetic case) for general use and emergencies. It's easily accessible but distant. The compact size (15.2 x 7.6 x 6.3 cm) allows for convenient storage and easy portability. The swivel head is handy for aiming settings while stationary. The light illuminates the room with a beam aimed at the ceiling (not good enough for reading). , but good enough to see clearly in the reflected overhead light. The light is easy to maintain with a metal stand. The only downside is that the beam is not adjustable. At 2 feet, the beam is about 2 feet in diameter with a bright 1" 15 feet center, the beam is about 12 feet in diameter with a bright center of 1 foot.
