This is definitely a mixed review but for the most part I'm happy with this set. I see a lot of comments that it's not for beginners. That's absolutely not true. A lot of parts don't fit together well, that's true. Some suit me and some don't. If you invest a little time and know-how, assembly isn't that bad. You don't need to sand the windows, just sand the hole in the frame carefully (or use an X-Acto knife). I recommend watching a YouTube video of this for some tips if you're *really* interested in this kit. Instructions are fine. I had english and i think chinese? You will definitely need other tools and glue as these are not included. You have to be pretty careful, the parts aren't inherently brittle, but you can start to bend or break some parts if you're not careful. My mother is quite an experienced dollhouse builder and we work on it with her. We're making changes to it so it's never used in its entirety "as is".
