Review on High Definition Planar Helium PCT2435 Monitor with HDMI Connectivity - Model 997-9363-00 by Sandro Olson

Bought to work with an Asus desktop running Win 8. I don't need an all-in-one touch system like the 27-inch Dell XPS that packs a higher resolution monitor than this. Wanted to build my own desktop and wanted a cheaper alternative. The monitor has multiple inputs (HDMI, VGA, audio, microphone, USB hub, integrated full HD webcam with microphone). It's Full HD (1920 x 1080) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The refresh rate can hardly be maintained when scrolling over the touchscreen (strong blurring when scrolling), but otherwise a crystal-clear image with high touch sensitivity. Excellent for general desktop work and watching Blu-ray movies (not suitable for standard definition movies). By the way, great customer support from Planar. Managed to recover quickly
