Sensor appears to work if trimmed or ground down. Suitable for Silverado 1500 2004 2WD left front wheel. The sensor has touched the wheel hub. I turned the hub by hand, felt resistance and heard clicks. I removed the sensor but it is broken, traces of the hub are visible. Otherwise it seems to be a good product. All wiring harness mounting clips conform to OEM locations and are solid. Ordered a replacement and will see if the second part is also long or if it was an anomaly. I noticed that on this sensor the metal sensor is 1-2mm longer than the OEM sensor. The OEM sensor is flush with the end of the probe. Will file/grind/drill the new part if it's long and make sure it fits before turning the wheel hub. OEM sensor reports C0225,C0226,C0227 for left front wheel speed sensor open circuit, left front wheel speed signal missing, left front wheel speed signal intermittent. Connecting this sensor will turn off the ABS warning light and will fix C0225, Left front wheel speed sensor open circuit. You must assemble and drive it to ensure all issues are resolved.
