The ring on the body retained its rigidity for about 10 minutes. I bought this case specifically for the ring. After 10 minutes the ring would no longer hold the position and could no longer hold my phone. The ring is not as tight on the back as it is in the photo. The case itself is fine. Very low profile and does not protect the front of the screen from ground contact if dropped. It also comes with a wrist strap, not pictured.
