I put my TV in the bedroom when I upgraded to a 4K model. The pine stand I use has side rails that are too narrow for the legs that are included. I bought it to fit on a stand and elevate the screen a bit. Unfortunately, at the highest settings, it's actually lower than before. Too low for a stand. I ended up putting a board under the stand to raise it and clear the rails. It works, so I'm keeping it to myself, but I'd like to see some real adjustments made to it. If your TV is under 40 inches this should be enough, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything larger. Unless you removed it from the wall mount and lost or broken the original legs.
