Review on Stunning Modern Crystal Chandelier Auffel: Minimalist LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture – Elegant Glass Surface – 1980LM Brightness – Ideal for Bathroom, Kitchen Island, Bedroom by Sean Spence

The lamp replaces an old-fashioned 6-light, 6-bulb chandelier. Hanging from a chain about 3 feet from the ceiling, this vintage light fixture visually divided the space. This recessed light was chosen to visually expand the space. About 2 1/2 inches thick which is just what you need. It's attractive and bright enough for the 10" x 13" room it illuminates. The color temperature of the built-in LEDs is 4000 K, i.e. almost white - see picture. One of the issues with the mount is the mounting plate that comes in the box. The mount is heavy enough that the mounting bar sags (bends) at the ends and there is about 1/4 inch clearance between the top. Lamp and ceiling - see picture. The electrical box is flush with the ceiling, so that's not a problem. The manufacturer should make a stronger mounting plate that will not flex/flex. My solution would be to install two drywall screws, one on each end of the mounting plate, to pull the fixture flush with the ceiling.
