If you are using a heavier gauge coaxial cable, apply some soap to the outer jacket before attempting to plug it in. MAKE SURE the adjustment screw (photo) attached to the internal threads of the piston is present! Mine fell off in transit and I found it purely by accident. You can't compress anything without them.
