It's very difficult to use. You can't move the tool backwards, you have to go all the way around again and your fingers hurt so much moving it all the way forward.I also noticed when I used the bigger hole size, it would not cut out the entire piece of the belt. Instead, I had to use a smaller hole and then use the bigger one over it. It's very annoying. I'd look for a different hole puncher if I were you.

The holes being made by this equipment are pretty neat and nice. And really affordable too. But one downfall is that it is really hard, for even a man like me, to punch a hole on the belt. I have to use all my power several times to make a hole. Anyways, good product!

Kinda difficult to switch sizes. I have to get something to help me pull the tab up, but not that big of a deal. We use it all the time!

Great product! The value, sturdiness,and easy to use is what I was looking for. It saved me a good amount of money and time. Get one of these and save money from having to go to an tailor or using a knife which I don’t recommend.

At the first hole, it felt like impossible, I almost decided to return it. The tool was so hard to switch gear (yes, in the correct direction, not backwards) like it was fully rusted inside. And the lock too, so hard to lock and unlock.After some getting use to, and some twist and turns, and some filing in and out, it gets the job done. I punched 8 holes in the end. Alright, this was 7 bucks, which is an absolute steal. However, if you're looking for quality, this is not the product. Especially if you're dealing with harder leathers. I was able to punch through all of my belts, but it required a bit of finessing i.e. flipping the belt around so that I could complete the punch through the other side. In a pinch, this works, but don't expect some godly performance.

Hard to press but works well! I’ve used mine on belts and bags and I’ve had no problems with it. That's my feedback. It’s a good buy.

Even after reading the other reviews explaining that you need to sharpen the tool, I found this difficult to use. It certainly works, but takes effort. The other downside is that it can only create circular holes, so if the belt requires oval holes, you might have to punch twice for every opening. This is more labor-intensive and also looks awkward once you have finished.

not sharp enough to cut through the leather. I had to get a man to do it and even he had to wiggle and wiggle the tool back and forth.

I have over a dozen fashion belts in various color that are too big due to recent weight loss. I was able to save money by not buying new belts. This tool did the trick. Perfect hole sizes!

Almost seems like it won't work. But it does. Great. Poke a puncture then put the puncher on the hole and press. Your hear and feel a pop. Then there you go. Nice investment.

I can’t say I love this, but it takes some getting use to. Not a clean break with the smaller holes. But you have to put some effort into it. But I got use to it, I will get a better one later, but for lite crafting this will do.

I used this on two leather thrift shop belts to make them fit me and it was so easy to use and I didn’t feel like it would break with the pressure.

The bad thing it doesn’t come with instructions. I tried and tried to punch a hole and it didn’t. Until I was reading about other punchers to exchange. The needle that comes with it is to sharpen the edges. Just insert into the holes and sand it against the edges. 💥 BAM . It works and I’m keeping it now

It was tough to rotate the heads for the different size holes. Almost threw the damn thing away. Also hard to punch the holes. Guess I don’t have much hand strength. I gave up. Maybe I’ll try again another time and update this review.

This is very stiff and hard to turn and squeeze if your hands aren't strong; I can make it work but with difficulty and it takes several tries to make a hole. If you have no issues with your hands, then it's fine.
