This glue gun is getting incredibly hot. If you think you're going to burn yourself with a regular-sized hot glue gun, you're in for a treat. All it takes is a tiny misplaced blob of glue and you'll get a wake-up call that lasts a few minutes. (I only mention this because getting burned with a regular glue gun isn't a bad thing at all. You can count on it to dry quickly and release instantly. This glue gun heats up the glue so much that it takes a while takes to cool down... you're kind of stuck and only suffer from fire if you don't have something to scrape it off with.) This is great for larger projects and gives you a little extra time to work before the glue has cooled down. I can't use it with foam because it melts foam easily, but anything else is fair game. I've been using this glue gun for a few years now and it still works great.
