Beautiful appearance, pleasant feel, very easy to use and, in addition to the adhesive factor, also a good price! I cleaned the armrests of my leather office chair thoroughly first with both 1st 409's and then again thoroughly (several times) with rubbing alcohol to ensure no dirt or oil of any kind remained on the surface, cut out the patches and applied to the surface. After 3 days they fell off. The sticky layer on the back just isn't strong enough to stick to anything that needs to bend. like any skin.
