Get these pliers from BLACK+DECKER for use in the workshop. I wasn't sure what to expect from them even though I had bought many Black and Decker items. They have a locking jaw with a strong hinge so they don't come out once adjusted. They also have tough teeth that really bite the item you use them on. I've used several cheaper pliers that have either broken, chipped, or worse, failed to grip the screw you were holding on to. I don't have that problem with them at all. I could list the features of these pliers endlessly, but the bottom line is this is a quality tool that will last me for years.
