Works great for my use. I feed in the stall and feed extra hay. The only place I can leave it open is in the stable next to my horse or in the back of my truck. I have found that if you put it in and cut the ropes and then lower the sack all the way down at one end and get some flakes out by hanging it over the back of the truck it works great with minimal hay loss. Pull the bag back and zip it up.
