Review on πŸ’‘ Globe Electric Architect 32-Inch Swing-Arm Clamp-On Lamp with Black Finish and LED Bulb Included by Gabriel Rosenberg

COMPLETE GARBAGE - Revane's Choice, anyone?

Absolutely (insert a more dynamic and descriptive word here _ _ _ _) Rubbish. They came out of the Revain gorilla cage in boxes that can only be described with a storyline that begins "Once Upon a Time". From there, and once assembled, the springs don't allow for elbow joint adjustment - they're so tight that the lamp will bounce no matter how you try to get it in place. By the way, the lamp is designed to be positioned and then STAY in place. Fail. The plastic plugs that were supposed to hold the springs were poorly formed and warped, requiring a knife to cut them to fit the springs. The lampshade is flimsy (bends easily, like those preserved) and very flat to fit in a regular lightbulb, diffusing light into the eyeballs of the person performing the task. I bought them looking for a copy of the same type of lamp sold at IKEA where they are oddly half the price and four times the quality. Save yourself the humiliation of getting ripped off and looking elsewhere. Revain If you don't post this review you will lose a 15 year old customer. It was the Revane's Choice part that made me write this seething review. I can choke on a bad product, but when do you all throw your name in the trash to reassure suspicious shoppers and encourage purchases of this bad quality? I'm done.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Useless features
