I almost gave this 4 stars because the build quality isn't the best. But given the price, 5 stars for the quality. All the old reviews with photos of broken clamps made me nervous. Cast aluminum can crack under pressure. But I think as long as you don't over tighten the clamp you'll be fine. Assembly/installation was very easy and it does exactly what I need. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a clip style architectural lamp on a budget.

I installed this bracket in my dining room which actually serves as a workshop. The ceiling light uses 40 watt bulbs which really don't fit. It gives you plenty of table-level light to do precision woodwork like I did. Assembled in less than 1 minute.
