Review on Watts Water Condition M7002 Flow Pur: Maximize Water Purity and Flow Efficiency! by Sean Tops

I currently live full time in my RV. We had only been here at the RV site for about a month when I noticed water build up in the connectors. I found this portable water softener online. It was ready to use straight away, I didn't have to "charge" it. Just connect it to the city water that is fed to the camper. Doesn't matter! My wife was very happy with the soft water as we have a washing machine in the RV. She says it's about soft water for washing clothes. I noticed that when showering, the soap foamed much better than with hard water. My biggest concern was how long the soft water would last before it needed "regeneration" (adding more salt). It comes with test strips so you can monitor your water hardness, but I felt the difference when the unit needed to be regenerated. It lasted a month and it is with two people in the house with a washing machine. The regeneration process was simple, requiring only 2 pounds of salt. I am very happy with the device. I would highly recommend it to any motorhome enthusiast. This is a continuation of my original review. I had the water softener for 6 weeks before it started leaking through the gasket on the top of the unit. Not around the hose connections, but in the manufactured seal. I notified Revain and at first they told me I had to go through Flow-Pur but after a little nudge they said they would send me a new unit and arranged to collect the broken one. After connecting the replacement water softener, it leaked in two places. One from the brass inlet. Inspection revealed that the thread was clogged. It looked like they had undressed. I had to replace it with a new one. Also, the "Y" valve on the drain side did not close. I removed it and connected the outlet hose directly to the filler neck. Now no leaks. So I've returned my original 5 star rating. The first block was leaking and the new softener had two faulty parts from the start. I'll see if this block lasts longer than 6 weeks. If not I will ask Revain for a refund. One good thing is Revain's customer service. It's great as always! For that reason alone, I buy almost everything through them. They are very easy to deal with when problems arise. Invoice. Okay, I've been using my second water softener for a few months now. After replacing the defective parts that came with the device, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the device. The first started leaking after a few weeks and Revain sent me a replacement. The exchange didn't cause any problems. I am returning my original 5 star rating. We are very fond of soft water and this device has performed well. invoice
