Doesn't work well on PC

I really wanted to like these headphones. I ordered these because I work from home and wanted to be able to switch between my work computer and my home computer without digging around and moving my wired headset jacks. First impressions. The box is good. The packaging is beautiful. Headphones look good. This is one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I've had several Razer headphones and they are by far the most comfortable. The noise cancellation is good, the buttons are comfortable. The problems started when I tried to connect it to the computer. The headphones are easily connected. I was listening to music and playing with noise canceling and suddenly they turned off. Strange. Turned them back on. Let's get back to the music. The music stops. Look at your audio device and select "Razer Opus Stereo". No sound comes out. I browse devices and notice "Razer Opus Hands-Free AG Audio". I choose this and I have sound. Unless it sounds like crap. It's tight and just awful. Turn them off and then unplug and plug them back in again. Reload. Connect to my phone and back. Won't fix anything. I ended up having to remove the devices from the bluetooth panel. Except when I added a microphone it didn't show up. Tried all previous fixes and added nothing. So I removed the device and added it again. 3x until it worked. A few notes. I downloaded the app for the phone (there isn't one for the PC). I disabled the auto shutoff and it still turns off randomly. I downloaded the latest firmware and it didn't solve any problem. I couldn't even test it with Discord because it doesn't work well enough to even test it. They come with a really nice case and work well on my phone. The phone is secondary for my use case, so it doesn't help that much. I'm sure they will come in handy on the plane or if you travel a lot. If any manufacturer is reading this, please post a dual wireless headset (Bluetooth + 2.4GHz). Steelseries has one, but it's 350 and sold out. The reviews aren't convincing either. Unfortunately I'm returning them and buying a 2.4GHz wireless pair. I think bad, just turn the key. Better than cable.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Compatibility
