Works great! Connected in series (to get 8 ohms) to an old JVC receiver rated at 100 watts/channel 7.1. When connected in series, the maximum power is 50 watts per speaker. Well done! The only downside is that I can't watch horror movies in it. They add to the fear factor so much that I nearly had a heart attack. Also, google and rent the list of movies with great bass soundtracks, you will be pleasantly surprised. To calibrate them I downloaded a program called Tone Generator. I then set the volume to 50% and produced a 40Hz tone. Gradually increase the volume until I'm happy with the results. This puts a double load/heat on the amp. That means if your amp puts out 100 watts into 8 ohms, it puts out 200 watts into 4 ohms. If you put 2 in series you get 8 ohms. 3 in series, you get 12 ohms. At 12 ohms and 100 watts of output power, this results in 33 watts per bass shaker.
