I wear this around my waist so I highly recommend sizing up. I wear a size 34 when I wear them, a size 36 when I wear them and I needed a 38" (bought a size 36 but exchanged for a size 38). Very nice belt, goes well with my suit or jeans. Over I can't comment on the durability as I only wear the dress on weekends so it's not my fault for the belt but it looks like it will hold up well If I could recommend a company I would love to have the belt have a stiffer back to hold more weight (feels like 100% coreless leather I think) but stiff enough to hold a medium sized pistol with no issues (my CCW is a Glock 19 which works great).
